الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated that a blind man had a mother of his children (umm walad) who used to insult the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and speak ill of him excessively. He would forbid her but she would not stop, and he would rebuke her but she would not desist. One night she mentioned the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (in an insulting manner), and he could not bear it. He took a dagger and placed it in her belly, then leaned on it until he killed her. In the morning, her two children were between her legs, covered in blood. This was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he gathered the people and said: 'I adjure by Allah any man who has a right over himself and did what he did to stand.' The blind man came, wailing, and said: 'By Allah, O Prophet of Allah, I am her master, and she is the mother of my children. I have two children from her like two pearls. She was gentle and kind to me, but she used to mention you and insult you. I would forbid her but she would not stop, and I would rebuke her but she would not desist. Last night she mentioned you and reviled you, and I could not bear it. I took a dagger and placed it in her belly, then leaned on it until I killed her.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Bear witness that her blood is lawful (not subject to retaliation).'
