Al-Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was of medium stature, and there was much distance between his (peace be upon him) two shoulders (that is, his chest was broad). His hair was abundant, reaching the earlobes. He (peace be upon him) wore a red garment (that is, one in which there were red and yellow stripes). I have not seen anyone more handsome than him (peace be upon him).

سیدنا براء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمدرمیانے قد کے تھے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے دونوں مونڈھوں میں زیادہ فاصلہ تھا (یعنی سینہ چوڑا تھا)۔ بال بہت تھے کانوں کی لو تک۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسرخ جوڑا پہنتے (یعنی جس میں سرخ اور زرد لکیریں تھیں)، میں نے کسی کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے زیادہ خوبصورت نہیں دیکھا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1557]
