Abu al-Tufayl (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and now on the earth no one remains among those who saw him (peace be upon him) except me. (The narrator of the hadith, al-Jurayri,) says: I said to him, "You saw him; how was he (peace be upon him)?" He said, "He (peace be upon him) was of white complexion with a touch of ruddiness, of medium stature, and of well-balanced body." Imam Muslim said: Abu al-Tufayl died in 100 AH, and he was the last of all the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to die.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو دیکھا اور اب زمین پر سوا میرے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو دیکھنے والوں میں کوئی نہیں رہا۔ (راوی حدیث جریری) کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ان سے کہا کہ آپ نے دیکھا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکیسے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسفید رنگ تھے، نمکینی کے ساتھ اور میانہ قد، متوازن جسم کے تھے۔ امام مسلم نے کہا کہ ابوالطفیل 100 ھ میں فوت ہوئے اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے اصحاب میں سب کے بعد وہی فوت ہوئے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1558]
