Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was neither very tall nor very short of stature, neither pure white nor wheat-colored. His (peace be upon him) hair was neither altogether tightly curled nor altogether straight. Allah, the Majestic and Glorious, honored him (peace be upon him) with prophethood at the age of forty. Then he (peace be upon him) stayed ten years in Mecca and ten years in Medina, and at the end of his sixtieth year Allah the Exalted took him (peace be upon him) up, and at that time there were not even twenty white hairs in his (peace be upon him) blessed head and beard.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنہ بہت لمبے تھے، نہ بہت چھوٹے قد کے، نہ بالکل سفید تھے نہ بالکل گندمی۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے بال نہ بالکل سخت گھنگریالے تھے نہ بالکل سیدھے۔ اللہ جل جلالہ نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو چالیس سال کی عمر میں نبوت سے سرفراز کیا۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمدس برس مکہ میں رہے اور دس برس مدینہ میں اور ساٹھویں برس کے اخیر میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو اٹھا لیا (تو) اس وقت آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سر اور داڑھی مبارک میں بیس بال بھی سفید نہ تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1556]
