Hadrat Jabir b. Abdullah reported that a person came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) at Jirana on his way back from Hunain, and there was in the clothes of Hadrat Bilal some silver. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took a handful out of that and bestowed it upon the people. He (the person who had met the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) at Ji'rana) said to him:Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), do justice. He (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) said: Woe be upon thee, who would do justice if I do not do justice, and you would be very unfortunate and a loser if I do not do justice. Upon this Umar b. Khattab (Allah be pleased with him) said: Permit me to kill this hypocrite. Upon this he (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) said: May there be protection of Allah! People would say that I kill my companions. This man and his companions would recite the Qur'an but it would not go beyond their throat, and they swerve from it just as the arrow goes through the prey
الترجمة الأردية
لیث نے یحییٰ بن سعید سے حدیث بیا ن کی ، انھوں نے ابو حضرت زبیر سے اور انھوں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : حنین سے واپسی کے وقت جعرانہ میں ایک آدمی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آیا جبکہ حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے کپڑے میں چاندی تھی اوررسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اس سے مٹھی بھر بھر کے لوگوں کو دے رہے تھے ۔ تو اس نے کہا : اے محمد ( صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ) عدل کیجئے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا : " تیرے لئے ویل ( ہلاکت یاجہنم ) ہو!اگر میں عدل نہیں کررہا تو کون عدل کرے گا؟ اگر میں عدل نہیں کررہا تو میں ناکام ہوگیا اور خسارے میں پڑ گیا ۔ " اس پر حضر ت حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ! مجھے اجازت دیجئے میں اس منافق کو قتل کردوں ۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا : " ( میں اس بات سے ) اللہ کی پناہ ( مانگتا ہوں ) !کہ لوگ ایسی باتیں کریں کہ میں اپنے ساتھیوں کو قتل کرتا ہوں ۔ یہ شک یہ اور اس کے ساتھی قرآن پڑھیں گے ، وہ ان کے حلق سے آگے نہیں بڑھے گا ، ( یہ لوگ ) اس طرح اس ( دین اسلام ) سے نکل جائیں گے جس طرح تیر شکار سے ( آگے ) نکل جاتا ہے ۔
