Narrated Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him): On the Day of the Battle of the Camel, Allah benefited me with something I had heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). I had nearly joined the people of the Camel and fought with them. He said: When the Messenger of Allah learned that the Persians had made Kisra's daughter (Buran bint Mushrawayh) their ruler, he said: "A people who appoint a woman as their ruler will never prosper."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوبکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہاللہ نے ایام (جنگ) جمل میں مجھے اس بات سے فائدہ دیا جو میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنی تھی، ورنہ قریب تھا کہ میں جمل والوں میں شریک ہو کر لڑتا، (انھوں نے) کہا کہ وہ بات یہ تھی کہ جب رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو یہ خبر پہنچی کہ ایران والوں نے کسریٰ کی بیٹی (بوران بنت مشیرویہ) کو اپنا حکمران بنا لیا ہے تو فرمایا:”جو قوم اپنے اوپر عورت کو حکمران بنائے گی وہ ہرگز فلاح حاصل نہ کر سکے گی۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1700]
