Musa bin Isma'il narrated to us, he said Abu Awanah narrated to us, he said Abd al-Malik bin Umayr narrated to us, from Warrad, the scribe of Hadrat al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: Hadrat Mu'awiyah (may Allah be well pleased with him) wrote to Hadrat al-Mughirah (may Allah be well pleased with him): "Write to me what you heard from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)." So he wrote to him: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to say at the conclusion of every prayer: "La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ala kulli shay'in qadir. Allahumma la mani'a lima a'tayt, wa la mu'tiya lima mana't, wa la yanfa'u dhal jaddi minkal jadd" (There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and no possessor of wealth can benefit from his wealth against You). And he also wrote that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to forbid idle talk, excessive questioning, and squandering of wealth; and he forbade disobedience to mothers, burying daughters alive, withholding (the rights of others), and demanding (without need).
الترجمة الأردية
ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے حضرت ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے عبدالملک بن عمیر نے بیان کیا، ان سے حضرت مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے کاتب وراد نے بیان کیا کہ حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے حضرت مغیرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو لکھا کہ جو آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے سنا ہے وہ مجھے لکھیں۔ تو انہوں نے لکھا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہر نماز کے بعد فرمایا کرتے تھے: «لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير، اللهم لا مانع لما أعطيت ولا معطي لما منعت ولا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد» (اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، تنہا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، ملک اسی کا ہے اور تمام تعریفیں اسی کے لیے ہیں اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ اے اللہ! جو تو عطا فرمائے اسے کوئی روکنے والا نہیں اور جسے تو روک لے اسے کوئی دینے والا نہیں اور کسی صاحبِ ثروت کو اس کی دولت تیرے مقابلے میں فائدہ نہیں دے سکتی)۔ اور انہوں نے یہ بھی لکھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بے فائدہ باتوں، بکثرت سوال کرنے اور مال ضائع کرنے سے منع فرماتے تھے، اور ماؤں کی نافرمانی سے، لڑکیوں کو زندہ دفن کرنے سے، اور (دوسروں کا) حق روکنے اور بے ضرورت مانگنے سے منع فرماتے تھے۔
