حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصْنَعُ فِي بَيْتِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ ـ تَعْنِي خِدْمَةَ أَهْلِهِ ـ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat al-Aswad (upon him be mercy) narrates that they went to Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) and asked about the prayer of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). She said: 'He would sleep after the Isha prayer at night, then wake up (during the latter part of the night) and pray, then return to his bed. When the mu'adhdhin called the Adhan, he would rise and if there was need, he would bathe, otherwise he would perform ablution and go out for the (Fajr) prayer.'
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت اسود رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ سے روایت ہے کہ ہم حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی نماز کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم رات میں عشاء کی نماز (کے بعد) سوتے، پھر (آخری حصے میں) بیدار ہوتے اور نماز پڑھتے، پھر بستر پر تشریف لاتے۔ جب مؤذن اذان دیتا تو اٹھ کر اگر حاجت ہوتی تو غسل فرماتے ورنہ وضو فرماتے اور نماز (فجر) کے لیے تشریف لے جاتے۔
