حَدَّثنا عَبدة بن عَبد الله قال أَخْبَرَنَا زيد بن الحباب قال أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ عَبد اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيدة عَن أَبيهِ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ تَرْكُ الصَّلاةِ فَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا فَقَدْ كفر

Abda ibn Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab informed us, he said: al-Husayn ibn Waqid informed us from Abdullah ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The covenant between us and them is the prayer; whoever abandons it has disbelieved."
