أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مَوْلَى مَنْ لَا مَوْلَى لَهُ وَالْخَالُ وَارِثُ مَنْ لَا وَارِثَ لَهُ هَذَا هُوَ الْمَحْفُوظُ مِنْ قَوْلِ عَائِشَةَ مَوْقُوفًا عَلَيْهَا وَكَذَلِكَ

Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz, Abu Bakr ibn al-Hasan, and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us: Abu 'Asim narrated from Ibn Jurayj from Amr ibn Muslim from Tawus from Aisha who said: Allah and His Messenger are the protector of whoever has no protector, and the maternal uncle is the heir of whoever has no heir.
