حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيَّ يَقُولُ تَضَيَّفْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ سَبْعًا قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ قَسَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ تَمْرًا فَأَصَابَنِي سَبْعُ تَمَرَاتٍ إِحْدَاهُنَّ حَشَفَةٌ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْءٌ أَعْجَبَ إِلَيَّ مِنْهَا شَدَّتْ مَضَاغِي.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, al-Abbas al-Jurayri narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Uthman al-Nahdi saying: I was a guest of Abu Hurayrah for seven days. He said: I heard him saying: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) distributed dates among his companions, and I received seven dates, one of which was a dry, shriveled one. Nothing was more pleasing to me than it, for it strengthened my chewing.
