حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْمَهْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَا مَهْرِيُّ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَكَسْبِ الْمُومِسَةِ وَكَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ وَكَسْبِ عَسِيبِ الْفَحْلِ.

Affan narrated to us, al-Qasim ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from Mu'awiyah al-Mahri who said: Abu Hurayrah said: 'O Mahri, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the price of dogs, the earnings of a prostitute, the earnings of a cupper, and the stud fee of a stallion.'
