حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَانَ مُلْتَمِسًا فَلْيَلْتَمِسْهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ فَإِنْ عَجَزَ أَوْ ضَعُفَ فَلَا يُغْلَبْ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي.

Bahz narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us: Uqbah ibn Hurayth narrated to us: I heard Abdullah ibn Umar say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever seeks it (the Night of Decree), let him seek it in the last ten nights; and if he is unable or too weak, let him not fail to seek it in the remaining seven.
