حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أُعَوِّذُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِدُعَاءٍ إِذَا مَرِضَ كَانَ جِبْرِيلُ يُعِيذُهُ بِهِ وَيَدْعُو لَهُ بِهِ إِذَا مَرِضَ قَالَتْ فَذَهَبْتُ أُعَوِّذُهُ بِهِ أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ بِيَدِكَ الشِّفَاءُ لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ اشْفِ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا قَالَتْ فَذَهَبْتُ أَدْعُو لَهُ بِهِ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ ارْفَعِي عَنِّي قَالَ فَإِنَّمَا كَانَ يَنْفَعُنِي فِي الْمُدَّةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yunus told us, Hammad -- that is Ibn Zayd -- told us, from Amr -- that is Ibn Malik -- from Abu al-Jawza, that Aisha said: "I used to seek protection for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, with a supplication that Gabriel used to seek protection for him with and supplicate for him with whenever he fell ill." She said: "So I went to seek protection for him with it: 'Take away the harm, Lord of mankind; in Your hand is the cure; there is no healer but You; grant healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.'" She said: "I went to supplicate for him with it during his final illness in which he died, but he said: 'Take it away from me.'" She said: "For it had only benefited me during an earlier period."
