'Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ibn Jurayj told us: Hisham b. 'Urwah informed me, from his father, from 'Abdullah b. al-Zubayr, from Sufyan b. Abi Zuhayr al-Bahzi, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Yemen will be conquered, and a people will come measuring out grain, and they will move with their families and those who obey them — yet Medina would be better for them, if only they knew." Ishaq b. 'Isa told us: Malik informed us, from Hisham b. 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Abdullah b. al-Zubayr, from Sufyan b. Abi Zuhayr, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Yemen will be conquered, and a people will come measuring out grain" — and he mentioned the hadith. Yunus told us, Hammad — that is, Ibn Zayd — told us, from Hisham b. 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Abdullah b. al-Zubayr, from Sufyan b. Abi Zuhayr — Ibn al-Zubayr said: I was informed that he was at the [pilgrimage] gathering, so I went to him and asked him, and he told me. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "You will conquer Syria, and peoples will come measuring out grain" — he said: "all of them conquered, and he said 'measuring out grain.'"
