حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍ وَهُوَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ شَنُوءَةَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحَدِّثُ نَاسًا مَعَهُ عِنْدَ بَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا لَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ زَرْعًا وَلَا ضَرْعًا نَقَصَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطٌ قَالَ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِي وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Rawh told us, Malik b. Anas told us, from Yazid b. Khusayfah, from al-Sa'ib b. Yazid, that he informed him that he heard Sufyan b. Abi Zuhayr — a man from Shanu'ah, one of the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him — narrating to people with him at the door of the mosque, saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Whoever keeps a dog that does not benefit him for crops or livestock, a qirat is deducted from his good deeds every day." He said: "Did you hear this yourself from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" He said: "Yes, by the Lord of this mosque."
