حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ أَبِي نَعَامَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَئِمَّةٌ يُمِيتُونَ الصَّلَاةَ فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتُمُوهُمْ فَصَلُّوا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَاجْعَلُوا صَلَوَاتِكُمْ مَعَهُمْ نَافِلَةً حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو نَعَامَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ قَالَ لَهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ أَئِمَّةٌ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.

Hashim told us: al-Mubarak ibn Fadalah told us, from Abu Na'amah: Abd Allah ibn al-Samit told me, from Abu Dharr, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Abu Dharr, there will be over you leaders who cause the prayer to die out; so if you reach them, pray the prayer at its proper time, and make your prayers with them a supererogatory prayer." Husayn told us: al-Mubarak told us: Abu Na'amah told me: Abd Allah ibn al-Samit told me that Abu Dharr said to him: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Abu Dharr, there will be leaders..." - and he mentioned the hadith.
