الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sufyan ibn Uyaynah told us, from al-Zuhri, from Ibn Abi Khuzamah, from his father, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah" - and Sufyan once said "I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him" - "what do you think of medicines with which we treat ourselves, incantations with which we seek healing, and precautions we take - do they avert anything of the decree of Allah, Blessed and Exalted?" He said: "They are part of the decree of Allah, Blessed and Exalted."
