حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَتِ الْعَضْبَاءُ لاَ تُسْبَقُ فَجَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ عَلَى قَعُودٍ لَهُ فَسَابَقَهَا فَسَبَقَهَا الأَعْرَابِيُّ فَكَأَنَّ ذَلِكَ شَقَّ عَلَى أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " حَقٌّ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ لاَ يَرْفَعَ شَيْئًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ وَضَعَهُ " .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: Al-Adba' (the she-camel of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) could not be outrun. A Bedouin came on a young camel and raced it, and the Bedouin's camel surpassed it. This was difficult for the Muslims to bear. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: It is a right upon Allah, the Exalted, that nothing in this world rises high except that He brings it low.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ عضباء (نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی اونٹنی) سے کوئی آگے نہیں بڑھ سکتا تھا، ایک اعرابی اپنے جوان اونٹ پر آیا اور اس سے مقابلہ کیا تو اعرابی آگے نکل گیا۔ یہ بات مسلمانوں پر گراں گزری۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ کا دستور ہے کہ دنیا میں جو بھی چیز بلند ہو اسے نیچا فرما دے۔
