Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8480 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ قَاعِدًا مَعَ حُذَيْفَةَ فَأَقْبَلَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ «إِنَّ أَشْبَهَ النَّاسِ هَدْيًا وَدَلًّا وَقَصْدًا وَخُطْبَةً بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ حِينِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ وَلَا أَدْرِي مَا يَصْنَعُ فِي أَهْلِهِ لَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَاللهِ لَقَدْ عَلِمَ الْمَحْظُوظُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ مِنْ أَقْرَبِهِمْ وَسِيلَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hudhayfah said: "The most similar of people in conduct, demeanor, composure, and speech to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) — from the time he leaves his house until he returns, and I do not know what he does in his family — is 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud. The privileged ones among the Companions of Muhammad (peace be upon him) know that 'Abdullah is the closest of them in station to Allah on the Day of Resurrection."
