Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8141 حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ قُتِلَ زَوْجُهَا فَسَأَلَتْهُ أَنْ يُوَرِّثَهَا مِنْ دِيَةِ زَوْجِهَا فَقَالَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَكِ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ نَشَدَ النَّاسَ مَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمٌ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلْيَقُمْ فَقَامَ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْكِلَابِيُّ فَقَالَ «كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ أُوَرِّثَ امْرَأَةَ أَشْيَمٍ الضِّبَابِيِّ مِنْ دِيَةِ زَوْجِهَا» فَوَرَّثَهَا عُمَرُ ؓ
انگریزی ترجمہ
A woman came to 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) whose husband had been killed, asking him to give her a share of her husband's blood money. He said: "I do not know of anything for you." Then he asked the people: "Whoever has knowledge from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), let him stand." Al-Dahhak ibn Sufyan al-Kilabi stood and said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) wrote to me to give the wife of Ashyam al-Dibabi her inheritance from her husband's blood money." So 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave her the inheritance.
