Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5977 حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُومُ إِلَى خَشَبَةٍ فَلَمَّا كَثُرَ النَّاسُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ كَثُرُوا أَفَلَا نَتَّخِذُ لَكَ مِنْبَرًا تَقُومُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّ الْجَائِي يَجِيءُ فَيَشْتَدُّ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْكَ شَيْئًا فَأَمَرَ غُلَامًا لِلْأَنْصَارِ فَأَخَذَ مِنْ طَرْفَاءِ الْغَابَةِ فَجَعَلَ لَهُ هَذَا الْمِنْبَرَ فَلَمَّا جَلَسَ عَلَيْهِ حَنَّتِ الْخَشَبَةُ الَّتِي كَانَ يَقُومُ إِلَيْهَا فَجَاءَ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا حَتَّى سَكَتَتْ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sahl ibn Sa'd said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to stand by a wooden post (to deliver sermons). When the number of people increased, they said: "O Messenger of Allah, the people have become many. Would you not have a pulpit made for you to stand upon? When latecomers arrive, it is hard for them to go back without hearing anything from you." He ordered a servant of the Ansar to take tamarisk from al-Ghabah and make this pulpit. When he sat upon it, the wooden post that he used to stand by let out a moaning sound. He came and placed his hand on it until it became quiet.
