انگریزی ترجمہ
Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) sent for Daghfal and asked him about the Arabic language, the genealogies of people, and the stars, and found him knowledgeable. He said: "O Daghfal, where did you learn all this?" He said: "I preserved it with an inquisitive tongue, a discerning heart, and indeed the bane of knowledge is forgetfulness." He said: "Then go and teach Yazid the Arabic language, the genealogies of Quraysh, and the stars."
