Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:262a حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ «وُلِدُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ ؓ بَعْدَ الْفِيلِ بِعَشْرِ سِنِينَ وَمَاتَ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى أَوْ سَنَةَ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَثَلَاثِينَ وَسِنُّهُ خَمْسٌ وَسَبْعونَ وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ ؓ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf was born ten years after the Year of the Elephant and died in the year thirty-one or thirty-two, at the age of seventy-five. Uthman ibn Affan prayed over him.
