Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12077 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابُهُ فِي الْهُدْنَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ عِنْدَ بَابِ النَّدْوَةِ مِمَّا يَلِي الْحَجَرِ وَقَدْ تَحَدَّثُوا أَنَّ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابِهِ جَهْدًا وهَزْلًا فَلَمَّا اسْتَلَمُوا الْحَجَرَ قَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهُمْ تَحَدَّثُوا أَنَّ بِكُمْ جَهْدًا وهَزْلًا فَارْمُلُوا الثَّلَاثَ أَشْوَاطٍ حَتَّى يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ بِكُمْ قُوَّةً» فَلَمَّا اسْتَلَمُوا الْحَجَرَ رَفَعُوا أَرْجُلَهُمْ فَرَمَلُوا فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَلَيْسَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ بِهِمْ جَهْدًا وهَزْلًا لَا يَرْضَوْنَ بِالْمَشْي حَتَّى يَسْعَوْنَ سَعْيًا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his Companions arrived during the truce that existed between him and the polytheists. The polytheists were at the gate of Dar al-Nadwah overlooking al-Hijr, and they had been saying that the Messenger of Allah and his companions were suffering from hardship and weakness. When they (the Muslims) touched the Black Stone, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to them: 'They are saying that you are suffering from hardship and weakness. So perform raml (brisk walking) in the first three rounds so they see that you have strength.' When they touched the Black Stone, they lifted their legs and walked briskly. Some of them (the polytheists) said to each other: 'Did they not claim they were suffering? They are not satisfied with walking — they even run!'
