Narrated Masruq: I would have no fear if I gave my wife the choice (of divorce) once, or a hundred times, or a thousand times, when she has already chosen me. I asked Umm al-Mu'minin A'ishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gave us the choice — did that then count as a divorce? (i.e., it did not). [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 856]
اردو ترجمہ
مسروق کہتے ہیں کہمجھے کچھ خوف نہیں اگر میں اختیار دوں اپنی بیوی کو ایک بار یا سو بار یا ہزار بار جب وہ مجھے پسند کر چکی ہے اور میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ہمیں اختیار دیا تھا تو کیا یہ طلاق ہو گئی؟ (یعنی نہیں ہوئی)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 856]
