انگریزی ترجمہ
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: You will conquer a land, Egypt, where the qirat is in common use (a qirat is a fraction of a dirham and dinar, and it was much in use in Egypt). Be kind to its people, for they have a bond of protection upon you and a tie of kinship with you (because Sayyida Hajar, the mother of Isma'il (peace be upon him), was from Egypt, and she is the mother of the Arabs). {Or he said: They have a right upon you and a tie of marriage as well} (and that tie was that the mother of the Messenger of Allah's (peace be upon him) son Ibrahim (peace be upon him), Mariya, was from Egypt). So when you see two men disputing there over the space of a single brick, then leave that place. Then Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw Abd al-Rahman bin Shurahbil bin Hasana and his brother Rabi'a disputing over the space of a single brick, so I left that place.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: تم ایک ملک مصر کو فتح کرو گے جہاں قیراط کا رواج ہو گا (قیراط درہم اور دینار کا ایک ٹکڑا ہے اور مصر میں اس کا بہت رواج تھا)۔ وہاں کے لوگوں سے بھلائی کرنا کیونکہ ان کا ذمہ تم پر ہے اور ان کا تم سے ناطہٰ بھی ہے (اس لئے کہ سیدہ ہاجرہ اسماعیل علیہ السلام کی والدہ مصر کی تھیں اور وہ عرب کی ماں ہیں) { یا یہ فرمایا کہ ان کا تم پر حق ہے اور ان سے دامادی کا رشتہ بھی ہے } (اور وہ رشتہ یہ تھا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے صاحبزادے سیدنا ابراہیم علیہ اسلام کی والدہ ماریہ مصر کی تھیں)۔ پس جب تم دو اشخاص کو وہاں ایک اینٹ کی جگہ پر لڑتے ہوئے دیکھو تو وہاں سے نکل آنا۔ پھر سیدنا ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ عبدالرحمن بن شرحبیل بن حسنہ اور ان کے بھائی ربیعہ ایک اینٹ کی جگہ پر لڑ رہے تھے تو میں وہاں سے نکل آیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1749]
