انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna A'idh bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him): Sayyiduna Salman, Suhayb, and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with them) were sitting among some other people when Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan came upon them. They said: The swords of Allah did not reach the neck of Allah's enemy in their (rightful) place (that is, this enemy of Allah was not killed). Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Do you say such a thing concerning the elder and chief of Quraysh? (Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said this out of prudence, lest Abu Sufyan grow angry and not even accept Islam.) Then he came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and related it to him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: O Abu Bakr! Perhaps you angered those people (that is, Salman and Suhayb and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with them)). If you angered them, then you angered your Lord. Hearing this, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to those people and said: O brothers! Did I anger you? They said: No, our brother; may Allah the Exalted forgive you.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عائذ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہسیدنا سلمان، صہیب اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہما چند دوسرے لوگوں میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ سیدنا ابوسفیان ان کے پاس آئے۔ پس وہ کہنے لگے کہ اللہ کی تلواریں اللہ کے دشمن کی گردن پر اپنے موقع پر نہ پہنچیں (یعنی اللہ کا یہ دشمن نہ مارا گیا)۔ سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ تم قریش کے بوڑھے اور سردار کے حق میں ایسا کہتے ہو؟ (سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے مصلحت سے ایسا کہا کہ کہیں ابوسفیان ناراض ہو کر اسلام بھی قبول نہ کرے) اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آ کر اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے بیان کیا تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے ابوبکر! شاید تم نے ان لوگوں کو ناراض کیا ہے (یعنی سلمان اور صہیب اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہما کو)؟ اگر تم نے ان کو ناراض کیا۔ تو اپنے پروردگار کو ناراض کیا یہ سن کر سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ ان لوگوں کے پاس آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ اے بھائیو! میں نے تمہیں ناراض کیا؟ وہ بولے کہ اے ہمارے بھائی! نہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں بخشے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1683]
