انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "A woman was punished because of a cat. She kept the cat confined until it died, then because of this cat she entered the Fire. When she imprisoned the cat, she neither gave it food nor water, nor did she release it so that it might eat the creatures of the earth (she killed the cat by making it suffer, and for that she entered the Fire)."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: ایک عورت کو بلی کی وجہ سے عذاب ہوا۔ اس نے بلی کو پکڑے رکھا یہاں تک کہ وہ مر گئی، پھر اسی بلی کی وجہ سے وہ جہنم میں گئی۔ جب اس نے بلی کو قید میں رکھا تو نہ کھانا دیا، نہ پانی اور نہ اس کو چھوڑا کہ وہ زمین کے جانور کھاتی (اس نے بلی کو تڑپا تڑپا کر مارا تھا اس لئے جہنم میں گئی)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1503]
