Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to visit Umm Haram bint Milhan, who was married to Ubadah bin as-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) (because she was a mahram to him, peace be upon him — that is, a foster maternal aunt, or a maternal aunt of his father or grandfather, peace be upon him). She used to feed him. One day the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went to her, and she fed him and began to search his head for lice. Meanwhile the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) fell asleep. Then he (peace be upon him) awoke laughing. Umm Haram asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Why do you laugh?" He (peace be upon him) said: "Some people of my nation were shown to me who were riding out to jihad in the way of Allah the Exalted upon the midst of this sea, like kings mounting their thrones — or like kings upon thrones." I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah the Exalted that He make me one of them." So he (peace be upon him) prayed, then laid down his head and slept, and again awoke laughing. I asked, "Why do you laugh, O Messenger of Allah?" He (peace be upon him) said: "Some people of my nation were shown to me who were going to jihad," and he described it as before. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah the Exalted that He make me one of those people." He (peace be upon him) said: "You are among the first ones." Then Umm Haram bint Milhan (may Allah be pleased with her) sailed upon the sea (to conquer the island of Cyprus) during the caliphate of Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) (which, after thirteen hundred years, the Sultan of Rome handed over to the English), and as she was disembarking from the sea, she fell from her mount and was martyred. اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمام حرام بنت ملحان جو کہ سیدنا عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ کے نکاح میں تھیں، کے پاس جاتے تھے (کیونکہ وہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی محرم تھیں یعنی رضاعی خالہ یا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے والد یا دادا کی خالہ) وہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو کھانا کھلاتیں تھیں۔ ایک روز رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمان کے پاس گئے، تو انہوں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو کھانا کھلایا اور سر کی جوئیں دیکھنے لگیں۔ اسی دوران رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسو گئے۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہنستے ہوئے جاگے، تو ام حرام نے پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپ کیوں ہنستے ہیں؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میری امت کے چند لوگ میرے سامنے لائے گئے جو اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں جہاد کے لئے اس سمندر کے بیچ میں سوار ہو رہے تھے جیسے بادشاہ تخت پر چڑھتے ہیں یا بادشاہوں کی طرح تخت پر۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپ اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا کیجئے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مجھے بھی ان میں سے کرے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے دعا کی پھر سر رکھا اور سو رہے اور پھر ہنستے ہوئے جاگے۔ میں نے پوچھا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکیوں ہنستے ہیں؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میری امت کے چند لوگ میرے سامنے لائے گئے جو جہاد کے لئے جاتے تھے اور بیان کیا جس طرح اوپر گزرا۔ میں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا کیجئے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مجھے بھی ان لوگوں میں کرے، تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تو پہلے لوگوں میں سے ہو چکی۔ پھر ام حرام بنت ملحان رضی اللہ عنہا سیدنا معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے دور خلافت میں سمندر میں (جزیرہ قبرص فتح کرنے کے لئے) سوار ہوئیں (جو تیرہ سو برس کے بعد سلطان روم نے انگریزوں کے حوالے کر دیا) اور جب دریا سے نکلنے لگیں تو جانور سے گر کر شہید ہو گئیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1074]
