وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ، - قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، - عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى الْعَصْرَ فَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَلاَثِ رَكَعَاتٍ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مَنْزِلَهُ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْخِرْبَاقُ وَكَانَ فِي يَدَيْهِ طُولٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . فَذَكَرَ لَهُ صَنِيعَهُ . وَخَرَجَ غَضْبَانَ يَجُرُّ رِدَاءَهُ حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى النَّاسِ فَقَالَ " أَصَدَقَ هَذَا " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . فَصَلَّى رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated from Khalid (al-Hadhdha'), who narrated from Abu Qilabah, who narrated from Abu al-Muhallab, who narrated from Hadrat 'Imran ibn Husain (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) led the 'Asr prayer and gave salutation at the end of three rak'ahs, then went into his house. A man called al-Khirbaq, who had long arms, stood up and came to him and submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! Then he mentioned to him what he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had done. He came out in a state of displeasure, trailing his mantle, until he reached the people and asked: 'Is this man telling the truth?' They submitted: Yes. So he prayed one rak'ah, then pronounced salutation, then performed two prostrations of forgetfulness, then pronounced salutation.
اردو ترجمہ
اسماعیل بن ابراہیم نے خالد (حذاء) سے، انہوں نے ابو قلابہ سے، انہوں نے ابو مہلب سے اور انہوں نے حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے عصر کی نماز پڑھائی اور تین رکعات پر سلام پھیر دیا، پھر اپنے گھر تشریف لے گئے تو ایک آدمی جسے خرباق کہا جاتا تھا اور اس کے ہاتھ لمبے تھے، وہ آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کی: اے اللہ کے رسول! پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے جو (سہو) ہوا تھا اس کا آپ کے سامنے تذکرہ کیا، آپ غصے کی حالت میں، چادر گھسیٹتے ہوئے نکلے حتیٰ کہ لوگوں کے پاس آ پہنچے اور پوچھا: ''کیا یہ سچ کہہ رہا ہے؟'' لوگوں نے عرض کی: جی ہاں! تو آپ نے ایک رکعت پڑھائی، پھر سلام پھیرا، پھر سہو کے دو سجدے کیے، پھر سلام پھیرا۔
