وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: جَاءَ أَبُو حُمَ��ْدٍ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنَ النَّقِيعِ بِإِنَاءٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَّا خَمَّرْتَهُ وَلَوْ أنْ تعرِضَ عليهِ عوداً»
انگریزی ترجمہ
He told that when Abu Humaid, one of the Ansar, brought a vessel of milk to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) from an-Naqi'* the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, “Why did you not cover it up, even by putting a piece of wood on it?” *A place in the wadi al-'Aqiq where camels which had been given in sadaqa were kept. (Bukhari and Muslim.)
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ابوحُمَید نامی ایک انصاری نقیع سے دودھ کا ایک برتن لے کر نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آئے تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم نے اسے ڈھانپا کیوں نہیں، اگرچہ ایک لکڑی ہی رکھ دیتے۔ (متفق علیہ)
