وَعَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ مُرْسَلًا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَبَّرُوا فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ وَالِاسْتِسْقَاءِ سَبْعًا وَخَمْسًا وَصَلَّوْا قبل الْخطْبَة وجهروا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ. رَوَاهُ الشَّافِعِي
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ja'far b. Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told in mursal form that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), Hadrat Abu Bakr and ‘Umar said “God is most great” at the two festivals and when praying for rain seven times in the first rak'a and five times in the second. They prayed before the sermon, and recited the Qur’an in a loud voice. Shafi‘i transmitted it.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت جعفر بن محمد سے مرسل روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم، حضرت ابو بکر صدیق اور حضرت عمر فاروق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما دونوں عیدوں اور نمازِ استسقاء میں پہلی رکعت میں سات اور دوسری رکعت میں پانچ تکبیریں کہتے تھے اور خطبے سے پہلے نماز پڑھتے تھے۔ (شافعی)
