أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «بَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ رَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَيْهِمْ قُمُصٌ مِنْهَا مَا يَبْلُغُ الثَّدْيَيْنِ وَمِنْهَا مَا هُوَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَعُرِضَ عَلَيَّ عُمَرُ وَعَلَيْهِ قَمِيصٌ يَجُرُّهُ» فَقَالَ مَنْ حَوْلَهُ مَا أَوَّلْتَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ «الدِّينُ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'While I was sleeping, I saw people being presented to me wearing shirts. Some shirts reached the chest, and some reached below that. Umar ibn al-Khattab was presented to me wearing a shirt that he was dragging.' They said: What did you interpret that to be, O Messenger of Allah? He said: 'The religion.'
