أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «كُنَّا يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعَ مِائَةٍ فَبَايَعْنَاهُ وَعُمَرُ آخِذٌ بِيَدِهِ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ وَهِيَ السَّمُرَةُ» وَقَالَ «بَايَعْنَاهُ عَلَى أَنْ لَا نَفِرَّ وَلَمْ نُبَايِعْهُ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be well pleased with both of them) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Gog and Magog are from the children of Adam. If they were to be sent against the people, they would corrupt the earth. One of them will not die until one thousand have descended from his loins. And before them are three nations: Taweel, Tarees, and Mansak, which no one knows except Allah."
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "یاجوج ماجوج آدم کی اولاد میں سے ہیں۔ اگر انہیں لوگوں کے خلاف بھیجا جائے تو وہ زمین کو فاسد کر دیں۔ ان میں سے ایک نہیں مرے گا یہاں تک کہ اس کی نسل سے ایک ہزار اتریں۔ اور ان سے پہلے تین قومیں ہیں: طویل، طریس، اور منسک، جنہیں اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی نہیں جانتا۔"
