أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَبَّقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ وَفَضَّلَ الْقُرَّحَ فِي الْغَايَةِ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Khuzaymah informed us, Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Yusuf narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from Ayyub from Abu Qilabah from Malik ibn Huwayrith who said: I came to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with some people from my tribe. We stayed with him for twenty nights, and the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was kind and merciful. When he saw our longing for our families, he said: «Return to your families and stay with them, teach them and command them.» And he mentioned things I have memorized and things I have not memorized. He said: «And pray as you have seen me pray. When the time for prayer comes, let one of you give the call to prayer, and let the eldest among you lead the prayer.»

احمد بن علی بن المثنی نے ہمیں بیان کیا، ابو معاویہ نے ہمیں اعمش سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابو صالح سے، انہوں نے ابو ہریرہ سے، انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے بیان کیا کہ آپ نے فرمایا: 'جبرائیل مجھے پڑوسی کے بارے میں وصیت کرتے رہے یہاں تک کہ میں نے سوچا کہ وہ اسے وارث بنا دیں گے۔'
