أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَصَلَّى خَلْفَهُ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ لِلرَّجُلِ «أَيُّهُمَا جَعَلْتَ صَلَاتَكَ الَّتِي صَلَّيْتَ وَحْدَكَ أَوِ الَّتِي صَلَّيْتَ مَعَنَا؟ »
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Sarjis (may Allah be well pleased with him) - who had met the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) - narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed the Fajr. A man came and prayed the two sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr behind him, then joined the congregation. When the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) finished his prayer, he said to the man: "Which of them did you make your prayer - the one you prayed alone or the one you prayed with us?"
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبد اللہ بن سرجس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ - جنہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے ملاقات کی تھی - سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے نماز فجر پڑھائی۔ ایک آدمی آیا اور آپ کے پیچھے فجر کی دو سنتیں پڑھیں پھر جماعت میں شامل ہو گیا۔ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو اس آدمی سے ارشاد فرمایا: "تم نے کون سی اپنی نماز بنائی؟ وہ جو اکیلے پڑھی یا جو ہمارے ساتھ پڑھی؟"
