Hadrat Salamah ibn Sakhr al-Bayadi (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: I was a man who had more desire for women than others. When Ramadan came, I feared I might do something at night and it would continue until morning. So I made zihar (declaring my wife as my mother's back) until the month passed. One night while she was serving me, something of her became exposed, and I could not resist and went to her. In the morning, I went to my people and told them, and asked them to accompany me to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). They refused. So I went to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and told him my story. He stated: "O Salamah, is it you who did that?" I said: 'Yes.' He stated it three times. I said: 'I am ready to bear whatever you decree by Allah's guidance.' He stated: "Free a slave." I struck the back of my neck and said: 'By the One who sent you with the truth, I do not own any neck but this one.' He stated: "Fast two consecutive months." I said: 'Did what befell me not happen precisely because of fasting?' He stated: "Then feed sixty poor persons with a wasq of dates." I said: 'By the One who sent you with the truth, we spent last night hungry with no food.' He stated: "Go to the person in charge of the charity of Banu Zurayq, let him give it to you. Feed sixty poor people a wasq of dates and eat the rest with your family." I went back to my people and said: 'I found narrowness and ill advice with you, and I found generosity and good counsel with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He has ordered that your charity be given to me.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت سلمہ بن صخر بیاضی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: میں ایسا آدمی تھا جسے عورتوں کی دوسروں سے زیادہ حاجت ہوتی تھی۔ جب رمضان آیا تو مجھے ڈر لگا کہ رات کو کچھ ہو جائے اور صبح تک جاری رہے۔ پس میں نے مہینا گزرنے تک ظہار کر لیا۔ ایک رات وہ میری خدمت کر رہی تھی کہ اس کا کچھ حصہ ننگا ہو گیا، میں رک نہ سکا اور اس کے پاس چلا گیا۔ صبح اپنی قوم کے پاس گیا، انہیں بتایا اور کہا: میرے ساتھ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس چلو۔ انہوں نے انکار کیا۔ پس میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں گیا اور اپنا واقعہ بیان کیا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: "اے سلمہ! تم نے ایسا کیا؟" میں نے کہا: ہاں۔ آپ نے تین بار فرمایا۔ میں نے کہا: میں صبر سے حاضر ہوں، جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو دکھایا ہو وہ فیصلہ فرمائیں۔ فرمایا: "ایک غلام آزاد کرو۔" میں نے اپنی گردن کے پیچھے ہاتھ مارا اور کہا: اس ذات کی قسم جس نے آپ کو حق کے ساتھ بھیجا! اس کے سوا میرے پاس کوئی گردن نہیں۔ فرمایا: "دو مہینے مسلسل روزے رکھو۔" میں نے کہا: مجھے جو پیش آیا وہ روزے ہی کی وجہ سے تو آیا! فرمایا: "ساٹھ مسکینوں کو ایک وسق کھجوریں کھلاؤ۔" میں نے کہا: اس ذات کی قسم جس نے آپ کو حق کے ساتھ بھیجا! ہم نے کل رات بھوکے گزاری، ہمارے پاس کھانا نہیں۔ فرمایا: "بنو زریق کے صدقے والے کے پاس جاؤ، وہ تمہیں دے دے، ساٹھ مسکینوں کو ایک وسق کھجوریں کھلاؤ اور باقی تم اور تمہارے اہل و عیال کھا لو۔" میں اپنی قوم کے پاس آیا اور کہا: تمہارے پاس تنگی اور بری رائے پائی اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس وسعت اور اچھی رائے پائی۔ آپ نے تمہارے صدقے میرے لیے حکم فرمایا ہے۔
