Usamah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that during the Farewell Pilgrimage, he asked: "O Messenger of Allah, where will you stay in Makkah — at your house?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Has Aqil left us any property or houses?" Aqil and Talib had inherited from Abu Talib, while neither Ja'far nor Ali (may Allah be pleased with them) inherited anything from him, because both of them were Muslims, whereas Aqil and Talib were disbelievers at that time.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہانہوں نے حجتہ الوداع میں جاتے وقت عرض کی کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم، مکہ میں اپنے گھر کے کس مقام میں تشریف فرما ہوں گے؟ تو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”عقیل نے کوئی جائداد یا مکانات (ہمارے لیے) چھوڑے ہی کب ہیں“اور عقیل اور طالب، ابوطالب کے وارث ہوئے تھے، نہ سیدنا جعفر رضی اللہ عنہ ان کی کسی چیز کے وارث ہوئے تھے اور نہ سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ۔ کیونکہ یہ دونوں مسلمان تھے اور عقیل اور طالب (اس وقت تک) کافر تھے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 802]
