انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he had a bowl belonging to the Prophet (peace be upon him). He says: I gave the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) (water) to drink in this bowl for a very long time. The narrator says that there was an iron band on this bowl. Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) wished to have a silver or gold band put in its place, but Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him), on hearing this, said: Do not change anything that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) has made. So Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) left it as it was.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہان کے پاس نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا پیالہ تھا، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو اس پیالہ میں بہت مدت تک (پانی) پلایا ہے۔ (راوی) کہتے ہیں کہ اس پیالہ میں لوہے کا کڑا پڑا ہوا تھا۔ سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ چاہا کہ اس کی جگہ چاندی یا سونے کا کڑا ڈلوا لیں تو سیدنا ابوطلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے (یہ سن کر) کہا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی بنائی ہوئی چیز کو مت بدلو تو سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس کو اسی طرح رہنے دیا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1948]
