حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " يُقْبَضُ الْعِلْمُ، وَيَظْهَرُ الْجَهْلُ وَالْفِتَنُ، وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ ". قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْهَرْجُ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا بِيَدِهِ، فَحَرَّفَهَا، كَأَنَّهُ يُرِيدُ الْقَتْلَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Hurayra (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: (A time will come when) knowledge will be taken away, ignorance and tribulations will prevail, and Harj will increase. It was submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), what is Harj? He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) gestured with his blessed hand as if indicating killing.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: (ایک وقت ایسا آئے گا جب) علم اٹھا لیا جائے گا، جہالت اور فتنے پھیل جائیں گے اور ہرج بڑھ جائے گا۔ عرض کیا گیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہرج کیا ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنے دستِ مبارک سے اشارہ فرمایا، گویا آپ نے قتل مراد لیا۔
