حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ لَمَّا ثَقُلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَاشْتَدَّ وَجَعُهُ اسْتَأْذَنَ أَزْوَاجَهُ أَنْ يُمَرَّضَ فِي بَيْتِي فَأَذِنَّ لَهُ، فَخَرَجَ بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ تَخُطُّ رِجْلاَهُ الأَرْضَ، وَكَانَ بَيْنَ الْعَبَّاسِ وَرَجُلٍ آخَرَ. قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لاِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَا قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَقَالَ لِي وَهَلْ تَدْرِي مَنِ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي لَمْ تُسَمِّ عَائِشَةُ قُلْتُ لاَ. قَالَ هُوَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrates that when the illness of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) became severe during his final illness, Hadrat Bilal (may Allah be well pleased with him) came to inform him about the prayer. He stated: 'Tell Hadrat Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer.' I submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), Hadrat Abu Bakr is a tender-hearted man. When he stands in your place, he will not be able to make the people hear (due to weeping). If you would order Umar (to lead)...' He stated: 'Tell Hadrat Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer.' I asked Hadrat Hafsa (may Allah be well pleased with her) to also make a request, and she did. But the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: 'Enough! You are like the female companions of Yusuf (upon him be peace)! Tell Hadrat Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مرض الوفات میں بیماری بھاری ہو گئی تو حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نماز کی اطلاع دینے آئے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: حضرت ابوبکر سے کہو لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائیں۔ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! حضرت ابوبکر نرم دل آدمی ہیں، آپ کی جگہ کھڑے ہوں گے تو لوگوں کو سنا نہ سکیں گے (رونے کی وجہ سے)۔ اگر آپ عمر کو حکم فرمائیں (تو بہتر ہو)۔ آپ نے فرمایا: حضرت ابوبکر سے کہو لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائیں۔ (حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں) میں نے حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین حفصہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے کہا کہ آپ بھی عرض کریں۔ انہوں نے بھی عرض کیا۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: بس کرو! تم تو یوسف (علیہ السلام) کی ساتھنیاں ہو! حضرت ابوبکر سے کہو لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائیں۔
