حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَاذَانُ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِذَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ـ رضى الله عنه ـ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الشَّجَرَةِ هَلْ يُنْقَضُ الْوِتْرُ قَالَ إِذَا أَوْتَرْتَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ، فَلاَ تُوتِرْ مِنْ آخِرِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Jamrah states, 'I asked Hadrat 'A'idh bin Amr (may Allah be well pleased with him), who was a Companion of the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and among the People of the Tree: Can the Witr prayer be repeated? He replied: If you have offered Witr at the beginning of the night, then offer as many voluntary prayers as you wish at the end of the night, but do not repeat the Witr.'
اردو ترجمہ
ابو جمرہ فرماتے ہیں: میں نے حضرت عائذ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا جو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے صحابی اور اصحاب شجرہ میں سے تھے: کیا وتر توڑا جا سکتا ہے؟ فرمایا: جب تم نے رات کے شروع میں وتر پڑھ لیا تو رات کے آخر میں جتنی چاہو نفل نماز پڑھو، لیکن وتر دوبارہ نہ پڑھو۔
