حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ بَعَثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ فِيمَنْ يُؤَذِّنُ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بِمِنًى لاَ يَحُجُّ بَعْدَ الْعَامِ مُشْرِكٌ، وَلاَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ. وَيَوْمُ الْحَجِّ الأَكْبَرِ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ، وَإِنَّمَا قِيلَ الأَكْبَرُ مِنْ أَجْلِ قَوْلِ النَّاسِ الْحَجُّ الأَصْغَرُ. فَنَبَذَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِلَى النَّاسِ فِي ذَلِكَ الْعَامِ، فَلَمْ يَحُجَّ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ الَّذِي حَجَّ فِيهِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُشْرِكٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) that Hadrat Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be well pleased with him) sent me along with others on the Day of Sacrifice (10th Dhul Hijjah) at Mina to make the announcement: After this year, no polytheist shall perform the Hajj, and no one shall perform the Tawaf of the Ka'bah while unclothed. The Day of al-Hajj al-Akbar (the Greater Hajj) is the Day of Sacrifice, and it is called al-Akbar because the people used to call the 'Umrah al-Hajj al-Asghar (the Lesser Hajj). So Hadrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him) revoked the covenant of the polytheists that year, and in the year of the Farewell Hajj when the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) performed the Hajj, not a single polytheist participated.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے (حجۃ الوداع سے پہلے والے حج کے موقع پر) دسویں ذی الحجہ کے دن مجھے بعض اور لوگوں کے ساتھ منیٰ میں یہ اعلان کرنے کے لیے بھیجا کہ اس سال کے بعد کوئی مشرک حج نہ کرے اور کوئی شخص بیت اللہ کا طواف برہنہ نہ کرے۔ حج اکبر کا دن یومِ نحر (دسویں ذی الحجہ) ہے، اور اسے حج اکبر اس لیے کہا گیا کہ لوگ عمرے کو حج اصغر کہنے لگے تھے۔ چنانچہ حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے اسی سال مشرکین کا عہد واپس لوٹا دیا، اور حجۃ الوداع میں جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حج فرمایا تو کوئی مشرک شریک نہ ہوا۔
