Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrates: 'We set out reciting the Talbiyah for Hajj during the months and sacred precincts of Hajj, and we halted at Sarif. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to his companions: "Whoever does not have a sacrificial animal and wishes to change his Ihram to Umrah may do so, but whoever has a sacrificial animal should not." The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and some of his strong companions had sacrificial animals, so their Ihram remained for Hajj. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came to me and I was weeping. He asked: "Why are you weeping?" I submitted: "I heard what you said to your companions, and now my Umrah is lost." He asked: "What is the matter?" I submitted: "I cannot pray" (due to menses). He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "There is no harm; you are one of the daughters of Adam (upon him be peace), and the same has been decreed for you as has been decreed for them. Continue with your Hajj; perhaps Allah will grant you the Umrah as well." She said: I did so. When we departed from Mina and camped at al-Muhassab, the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called Abdur-Rahman (may Allah be well pleased with him) and stated: "Take your sister outside the Haram (to Tan'im) so she may assume Ihram for Umrah. When you both finish your Tawaf and Sa'i, I shall wait for you here." We returned at midnight and he asked: "Have you finished?" I submitted: "Yes." Then he announced the departure among his companions. People set out, and some performed the farewell Tawaf of the Ka'bah before the Fajr prayer, after which he set out towards Madinah.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: ہم حج کے مہینوں اور حج کے احرام میں حج کا تلبیہ پکارتے ہوئے نکلے اور سرف میں پڑاؤ کیا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنے اصحاب سے ارشاد فرمایا: جس کے ساتھ قربانی نہ ہو اور وہ چاہے کہ اپنے احرام کو عمرہ میں بدل دے تو وہ ایسا کرے، لیکن جس کے ساتھ قربانی ہو وہ ایسا نہ کرے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اور آپ کے بعض قوی اصحاب کے ساتھ قربانی تھی تو ان کا احرام صرف عمرہ کا نہ رہا۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم میرے پاس تشریف لائے اور میں رو رہی تھی۔ آپ نے دریافت فرمایا: کیوں رو رہی ہو؟ میں نے عرض کیا: آپ نے جو اپنے اصحاب سے فرمایا میں نے سنا، اب تو میرا عمرہ رہ گیا۔ آپ نے پوچھا: کیا بات ہوئی؟ میں نے عرض کیا: میں نماز نہیں پڑھ سکتی (حیض کی وجہ سے)۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: کوئی حرج نہیں، تو بھی آدم (علیہ السلام) کی بیٹیوں میں سے ایک ہے اور جو ان کے مقدر میں لکھا ہے وہی تمہارا بھی مقدر ہے۔ اب حج کا احرام باندھ لے، شاید اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں عمرہ بھی نصیب فرمائے۔ فرماتی ہیں: میں نے ایسا ہی کیا، پھر جب ہم منیٰ سے روانہ ہوئے اور محصّب میں اترے تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے عبدالرحمٰن رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو بلایا اور فرمایا: اپنی بہن کو حدود حرم سے باہر (تنعیم) لے جاؤ تاکہ وہ عمرہ کا احرام باندھ لے، پھر تم دونوں طواف و سعی سے فارغ ہو جاؤ، میں تمہارا یہیں انتظار کرتا ہوں۔ ہم آدھی رات کو حاضر ہوئے تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے پوچھا: فارغ ہو گئے؟ میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں۔ پھر آپ نے اپنے اصحاب میں کوچ کا اعلان فرمایا اور لوگ روانہ ہو گئے، بعض نے صبح کی نماز سے پہلے ہی بیت اللہ کا طوافِ وداع کر لیا تھا، اس کے بعد آپ مدینہ کی جانب روانہ ہوئے۔
