حَدَّثنا أحمد بن المثنى فيما أعلم قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عامر عَن سُليمان بن بلال عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عَن أبي عُبَيد عَن عَطاء بن يزيد عَن أبي هُرَيرة أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال من سبح في دبر صرة ثلاثًا وثلاثين وحمد ثلاثًا وثلاثين وَكَبَّرَ ثلاثًا وثلاثين وَقال تمام المِئَة لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وهُو عَلَى كل شيء قدير غفرت ذنوبه ولو كانت أكثر من زبد البحروأبو عُبَيد الذي روى عنه سهيل هذا الحديث لا نعلم من هو سلمان الأغر عَن أبي هُرَيرة اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال من سبح في دبر صرة ثلاثًا وثلاثين وحمد ثلاثًا وثلاثين وَكَبَّرَ ثلاثًا وثلاثين وَقال تمام المِئَة لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وهُو عَلَى كل شيء قدير غفرت ذنوبه ولو كانت أكثر من زبد البحروأبو عُبَيد الذي روى عنه سهيل هذا الحديث لا نعلم من هو سلمان الأغر عَن أبي هُرَيرة

Ahmad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, as far as I know, saying: Abu Amir narrated to us from Sulayman ibn Bilal from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih from Abu Ubayd from Ata ibn Yazid from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Whoever glorifies Allah (says Subhan Allah) thirty-three times after each prayer, praises Allah (says al-Hamdulillah) thirty-three times, and magnifies Allah (says Allahu Akbar) thirty-three times, and says to complete one hundred: 'La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa ala kulli shayin qadir (There is no god but Allah alone with no partner, to Him belongs sovereignty and praise, and He has power over all things)' — his sins will be forgiven even if they are more than the foam of the sea." Abu Ubayd from whom Suhayl narrated this hadith — we do not know who he is. Salman al-Agharr from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him).
