حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن زياد وَأحمد بن عَبدة واللفظُ لمحمد عَن سُفيان بْنِ عُيَينة عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم شكت النار إلى ربها فقالت يا رب أكل بعضي بعضا فأذن لها بنفسين نفس في الشتاء ونفس في الصيف فأشد ما كان من الحر من فيح جهنم وأشد ما كان من الزمهرير من برد جهنم اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم شكت النار إلى ربها فقالت يا رب أكل بعضي بعضا فأذن لها بنفسين نفس في الشتاء ونفس في الصيف فأشد ما كان من الحر من فيح جهنم وأشد ما كان من الزمهرير من برد جهنم
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ziyad and Ahmad ibn Abdah narrated to us — the wording is that of Muhammad — from Sufyan ibn Uyaynah, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «The Fire complained to its Lord and said: 'O Lord, some parts of me are consuming other parts.' So He permitted it two breaths: one breath in winter and one breath in summer. The most intense heat you experience is from the exhalation of Hell, and the most severe cold you experience is from the bitter cold of Hell.»
