Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them) narrated: An Ansari man married a woman from Banu Ajlan. He spent the night with her, and when morning came, he did not find her to be a virgin. Their matter was raised to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He called the girl and she said: 'Yes, I was a virgin.' So he ordered them to perform mutual cursing (li'an), and he gave her the dowry. This hadith - we do not know it to be narrated from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with this wording except through this chain.
