حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ قَالَ نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي سَالِمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ ضَعِيفًا وَإِنِّي أُحِبُّ لَكَ مَا أُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِي لَا تَأَمَّرَنَّ عَلَى اثْنَيْنِ وَلَا تَتَوَلَيَنَّ مَالَ يَتِيمِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا أَبُو ذَرٍّ وَلَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ قَالَ لَهُ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ ضَعِيفًا وَإِنِّي أُحِبُّ لَكَ مَا أُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِي لَا تَأَمَّرَنَّ عَلَى اثْنَيْنِ وَلَا تَتَوَلَيَنَّ مَالَ يَتِيمِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا أَبُو ذَرٍّ وَلَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ

Ibrahim ibn Hani' narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn Abi Ayyub narrated to us, from 'Ubaydullah ibn Abi Ja'far, from Salim ibn Abi Salim al-Jayshani, from his father, from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "O Abu Dharr, I see that you are weak, and I love for you what I love for myself. Do not take command over even two people, and do not assume guardianship over an orphan's wealth." This hadith - we do not know it to be narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with this wording except by Abu Dharr, and we do not know it to be narrated from Abu Dharr except through this chain.
