حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ أَخَّرَ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الصَّلَاةَ فَسَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ فَضَرَبَ فَخِذِي قَالَ سَأَلَتُ خَلِيلِي أَبَا ذَرٍّ فَضَرَبَ فَخِذِي وَقَالَ سَأَلْتُ خَلِيلِي يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ صَلِّ لِمِيقَاتِهَافَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتَ فَصَلِّ مَعَهُمْ وَلَا تَقُولَنَّ إِنِّي قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ فَلَا أُصَلِّي
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from Ayyub, from Abu al-'Aliyah, he said: 'Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad delayed the prayer, so I asked 'Abd Allah ibn al-Samit, and he struck my thigh and said: I asked my close friend Abu Dharr, and he struck my thigh and said: I asked my close friend, meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: Pray the prayer at its proper time. If you catch [the congregational prayer], then pray with them, and do not say 'I have already prayed so I will not pray.'
